In this heartfelt message to Black Daughters, I want you to know that you're never alone and deeply cherished by our community. Despite past distractions and challenges, it's time to embrace love, healing, and empowerment, leaving behind fear and shame to nurture empathy and strength within ourselves and among our Sisters, Mothers, and Daughters.

My mother's disappointment was my first encounter with pain, stemming from generations of unresolved trauma. Realizing that I couldn't change her, I embarked on a journey of self-healing, learning to love and thrive despite her absence, and understanding that every woman has her own battles to face.
